After a very successful meeting, everyone returns to their normal areas in the office and gets back to work. This is where companies fail- by not continuing with the plan throughout the whole year in little ways. Make the suggestion box bigger, create competitions between teams of office staff for lattes or buying the first round of drinks at a happy hour after a successful month are great rewards for your hard working staff. They want to feel appreciated and letting them know in little ways that you care is huge. The biggest mistake companies make is having one meeting and never following up throughout the months is frustrating to your staff and reduces moral. 5.Continuing Communication and Increasing Moral Once you have tried to avoid the mistakes listed above, you should be on your way to a healthier work environment. The final mistakes offices make are to ignore that your office has a communication problem in the first place and thinking it will get better on its own- when it will probably get worse.
